Newborn Session

I don't usually share on my blog my favorites from a session but I really should more often. Here is a recent newborn who was so delightful as is her family. I'm excited to be able to watch her grow this year in the Year in the Life package I offer. Here are some of my favorites:

Tutu Cute Tea Party

I'm so excited to announce what I hope becomes an annual event! The Tutu Cute Tea Party mini photo sessions. I've got big plans of which includes, lots of tutus, tea, pearl chandelier and a flower tulle canopy. Newborn Compton

It was such a pleasure to photograph this sweet sweet angel. I couldn't believe how easy going she was. I mean yes everyone thinks how easy it must be to photograph newborns because they don't do anything but seriously they are harder to photograph than an eighteen month old. Newborn sessions can easily take double the time of a regular portrait session. But not with this little love. And the parents? Well I just want to go antiquing with them because they know how to find all the good stuff! Anyway here are some random sneak peeks for you, Compton family. Hope you enjoy! I can't wait to go through the rest of the images, especially the ones with the coca-cola crate!

Is that not the corniest title? It's been a pleasure photographing Baby A this past year. I can't believe how much she has grown from our first photo shoot when she was only 3 months old! Here are some random sneak peeks from my morning with her and our last installment of our year in the life package. The rest of the pics will be ready in less than two weeks.

Hearts--I heart Faces

This week's theme over at I heart faces (http://www.iheartfaces.com/) is Hearts! Very fitting since Valentines is coming up. I'm sure so many of us photographers have mini V-day sessions going on right now so there will probably be lots of heart submissions to go look at. This picture is from the same shoot that I did a couple of weeks ago and submitted for best January face. Same face (but not looking so tough) different picture. Anyway Happy St. Valentine's everyone!
